Exercises / Instrument recognition
Recognize instruments by ear
Hear five real, publicly licensed instrument recordings. Start listening immediately—no sign-in or extra start screen.
This is a five-recording starter course, not a comprehensive orchestral ear-training library. Audio is loaded from Wikimedia Commons while you practise; it is not bundled for offline use.
EXERCISE 01 · 5 RECORDINGS
Start →Recognize five instrument sounds
Listen to real recordings of violin, cello, trumpet, shakuhachi and acoustic piano. Identify the exact instrument.
EXERCISE 02 · 5 RECORDINGS
Start →Hear instrument families
Identify bowed strings, brass, woodwinds and keyboards by sound. Shakuhachi is a bamboo flute, not a concert flute.
