Site information
Privacy
This page explains the data used by Rytune's browser tools. Last updated 22 October 2026.
Practice history and preferences
Rytune uses browser storage to remember some settings, saved routines, exercises and practice results. This information stays in the browser where you saved it; it does not automatically follow you to another device. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Microphone tuner
The tuner requests microphone permission only when you start it. It processes pitch in your browser. The tuner does not intentionally upload or store your microphone recording. You can stop the tuner or revoke microphone access using your browser's controls.
Audio examples and external sites
Some listening exercises load credited recordings from Wikimedia Commons or related media hosts. Requesting those files can share ordinary network information, such as your IP address, with their host. If you follow a link to another site, that site's privacy practices apply.
Links and site delivery
Shared instrument settings can be placed into a URL. Anyone you send that URL to can read the settings it contains. Like other websites, Rytune's hosting and network providers may process request logs needed to deliver pages and protect the service.
Changes
If features such as user accounts, advertising or new analytics are added, this notice should be updated to describe them. Learn more about Rytune.
