BEGINNER FINGERINGS

Which holes make a note?

Start with G5 (thumb and three top holes closed). Move on to A5 and B5, then practise F5 with the special Baroque cross-fingering. This version intentionally limits the range to nine foundation notes, C5 to D6.

The controls represent the back thumb hole and seven front holes, with each lower double hole simplified to one switch. The air-driven tone is synthesized; no microphone or acoustic instrument is required.
