Common chord suffixes and slash chords are preserved. Text that is not recognized as a chord stays unchanged.
What it keeps
Chord quality stays intact.
Major, minor, seventh, suspended and other common suffixes are left in place while the root moves. Slash-bass notes move by the same interval.
Use the sharp or flat preference to choose how enharmonic notes are displayed. For theoretical spelling inside a specific key, use Chords in Key or Scale Finder instead.
